“Speak and may the plague take you” A senior thesis film by Cody Duckworth Drama/Comedy Production dates in October 2009 (pending) In this surreal existential-dramedy, a writer amidst the brink of sanity and fatigue struggles to complete his story. Outside his bedroom window his inner thoughts have manifested themselves as living storybook characters, compelling him to improve and alter his story. When he loses control, he threatens to kill off his main character, a now living entity who steals his typewriter and escapes. Now he must follow him through a series of fantastic environments in order to retrieve the typewriter and kill off the main character in a transcendent attempt to teach his thoughts a valuable lesson in living. Actors and Actresses needed! Roles of: A Vampire (tall, slender, snake-like, male) A Magician (Short, squat, male) An indian Guru (must be indian) The Announcer (lean and loud, male) The Writer (gruff, shaggy, male, mid-age) A Large Woman (Large and incharge) Poseidon (a strong god, male) a Southern Belle (A lavish and refined older woman) a Physicist (an older gentleman, preferrably white hair) The Main Character ( a handsome slender male) Man with a petticoat (wears a tutu, and a bowler hat, good sense of humor, english, male) Southern Gentleman (older, white hair, dressed like colonel sanders) Little Pope (short male) Monks (tall) (3) Large woman in leather straps Man walking large dog. (minimal part just needs to walk past the camera with a dog on a leash, if you have a dog that is jumpy and doesn't like to be on a leash, great)

Cody, I didn't know we needed a dog. I've got some lovely little darlings that not only walk on a leash beautifully but they've been on set before. Let me know if you need me to do any voice over work w/ the music or anything. Had a Great time working with you ALL! ~ Donna
