Burden: Corey Critser'S Senior Film (2009)

Logline: A doctor gets a second chance to save a life and learns that we are not responsible for other peoples actions.
Synopsis: Dr. Ryan Davenport, Chief of Surgery, is met with a challenge when a suicide victim, David Brooks, is brought into the ER. He performs the surgery flawlessly while Allison, David’s sister and only immediate family member, watches nervously. Fate plays its’ best role in conflicting Dr. Davenport’s mind when David Brooks dies despite best efforts. While aimlessly wandering a bridge, Dr. Davenport is forced a rope in his hand. When this man throws himself over the edge with the rope tied around his waist, Dr. Davenport must decide whether or not he is responsible for this suicidal man’s death.

We are shooting on 35mm, run time is 11 minutes. Have a crew all set up, but still looking for a Production Designer. DATES: October 29th - November 1st. Shooting at the Georgia Infirmary on Lincoln and Abercorn St.

2 Paramedics - will be in action pushing a gurney down hospital hallway

3 Nurses- wandering in and out of rooms with charts speaking to doctors and each other alike.

and assisting doctors when patient is coding.

2 Doctors - checking on patients

3 Patients in Beds- just lying there, one walking around with IV Stand

4 Waiting room Patients- sitting in the waiting room- only needed for short time one day

3 Surgeons- assisting Doctors working on the Suicide patient.
